Bakugan Warriors – The Cartoon, the Characters and the Game

Bakugan warriors are characters from the anime (Japanese animated cartoon) series Bakugan Battle Brawlers. This series features over 50 episodes and its cast comprehends eight main characters and dozens of secondary ones. The Bakugan franchise also includes an homonymous strategy game.
The anime’s main characters are not Bakugan warriors themselves, but rather masters to the actual Bakugan warriors. The latter are creatures who possess various types of supernatural powers; they are guardians and companions to the series’ human characters.
The term “Bakugan warriors” is often used to refer to the action figures which are part of a toy line released by Sega Toys and Spin Master. They are presented in the form of vibrant colored spheres. When these balls are rolled over Bakugan metal game cards, they turn into the creatures seen on the TV show.
There are several types of Bakugan warriors. Each of them is associated to a human character in the series. For instance, Pyrus Dragonoid is the guardian of Dan; Haos Tigrerra is the companion of Runo; Subterra Gorem is linked to Julie, and so on.
Just as seen in Pokémon, Digimon and other series/games that make use of magic creatures, Bakugan warriors can evolve, thus acquiring new and stronger abilities. Aquos Preyas Angelo, for example, is the evolved form of Marucho’s guardian Aquos Preyas. Similarly, Ventus Storm Skyress has evolved from Shun’s original companion Ventus Skyress.
Not all Bakugan warriors are friendly beings. The series’ first season features a Bakugan as its main villain. His name is Naga and he later evolves to Silent Naga. He also leads his own army of evil Bakugan, such as Aquos/Ventus Taygen, Ventus/Aquos Hairadee and Subterra/Haos Tricloid.
Those interested in playing Bakugan or purchasing the bakugan toys for their children can select either the Bakugan Starter Pack or the Bakugan Battle Pack. Both packs come with Bakugan warriors, metal card games and playing instructions. A Bakugan Arena is available as well and should be purchased separately.
Due to its highly entertaining potential, the world of Bakugan warriors can appeal to children and adults at once. The little ones will love to play Bakugan with their friends. The grown ups can have a fun time collecting the addictive action figures.
